Given the massive volatility of the Cable Market with prices now changing almost on a weekly basis, it has been impossible to publish a price list to enable you to arrive at your buying price. Hence all you now see is "POA" (price on application) which results in numerous phone calls to your wholesalers to ascertain the current prices, with the unscrupulous ones making it up on the fly to the unwary buyer.
Hopefully we have now come up with a solution. Instead of you not having any real access to published price lists, we will issue a price GUIDE in the Connector cable section. This will give you the last published price that was available at the time of going to print and if during the life of the Connector publication the price of cable increases, or decreases (as was the case on the day this information was written, with the forecast for lower prices) we will issue a cable factor to be applied to our price GUIDE, so you can see exactly what you will pay.
This factor will be available via this webpage, or from anyone of our branch staff over the phone or when you visit the branch on our information boards. For example, at the day of going to print the cable guide is correct and the cable factor is 0%, however if the cable prices drop by 4% during that publication then we will immediately publish the new cable factor & reduce the price you pay. This is part of Denmans' Fair Pricing policy & is an important issue for us. When cable prices are rising we try to hold out as long as we possibly can to delay any price rises to you, however when cable prices are dropping we move our prices down as soon as they are announced.
