Steeple Water Heating and Heaters

The Steeple heating range includes:
Fan heaters.
Convector heaters offering a silent, instant heat from a small portable source, which is great for the times when the central heating is not yet needed.
As well as three different models of oil-filled radiator: with a totally enclosed heating element, oil-filled radiators provide a safe and reliable source of heating for both domestic and commercial applications. This range of oil filled radiators provide radiant heat, with the internal thermostat controlling its ouput once the required room temperature has been reached. Their manoeuvrability makes them very versatile, and no moving parts means they are silent in operation and are great for people who suffer from dust allergies.
Tubular heaters which are the ideal solution when low cost heating is required for domestic or commercial applications. Typical applications include garages, workshops, greenhouses and conservatories. Wire guards are strongly recommended for use with the above, where the heater could be exposed to small children or the elderly for added safety.
In the water heating range, unvented storage heaters with capacities of 7, 10 & 15 litres are available.
The oversink models are available in 5 & 10 litre models and are rated at 2kw.
There is a wide range of high quality fixings also available, including drill bits, our best selling cable ties (available in various sizes) and capping nails.
Steeple Lighting

The Steeple lighting range includes low voltage downlights, recessed modular fittings, surface fluorescents and photocells. One of our popular ranges is the GZ10 recessed downlights.
The GZ10 Halogens are 50W, IP20 rated, Pressed Steel and available in a selection of colours.
SAC158 - Range of waterproof anti-corrosive fluorescent luminares.
The body is manufactured from glass reinforced polyester (GRP), which is an exceptionally corrosion resistant material and is able to withstand the most aggressive conditions. It has a vacuum formed stippled acrylic diffuser, where the stippling breaks up the image of the lamp. Typical applications are humid or wet industrial areas, dusty areas, car parks and food factories. They are IP65 rated, dust tight & water and jet proof. They have injection moulded prismatic controllers and have the BSI Kitemark. Quick & easy to install & maintain.
Steeple Consumer Units

The range has been specifically designed to incorporate all of your needs and to comply with the new 17th edition regulations (published in January 2008), for all domestic and residential installations, which now require RCDs (Residual Current Devices) to provide additional protection. Steeple offers a full comprehensive range for every installation and is probably the first range of boards on the market that have been made taller to cater for easier wiring of RCBOs (Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent Protection), which are also available in ‘B’ and ‘C’ types.
Choosing the right Steeple Consumer Unit:
One of the first thing electricians need to consider before buying is where the consumer unit will actually be fitted. The physical location plays a vital part in deciding what consumer unit is right for any particular application. For example, when installing in a school environment, a more ruggedly constructed consumer unit capable of withstanding harsh conditions, perhaps even mounted in a separate enclosure, should be chosen. On the other hand, for domestic applications, a more pleasing-on-the-eye insulated enclosed unit might be suitable.
- The number of outgoing ways will be required.
- If using a Steeple split load consumer unit, the number of many ways are on the RCD protected side and how many are on the non-RCD protected side.
- The number of spare/future ways required.
- The number of ways are needed for control/command functions.
- The width, height and depth constraints of the installation.
- Confirmation of supply and outgoing cables i.e. position/size/direction.
