Less is often considered to be more in today's modern environment, and it’s exactly with this principle in mind that the aesthetics of the range were designed.
Designa Grid Systems
Incorporating all the features and benefits of the wiring accessories range, the GRID SYSTEM has been designed for maximum performance whilst providing the ultimate in looks and flexibility.
Suitable for a variety of commercial and public interiors as well as for an increasing number of domestic installations. Easy to fit and simple to use. Front loading and fully interchangeable once fitted.
Available with many module variants with either 10AX or 20AX fluorescent rating, the grid modules include toggles, fuse connections and key switches.
Metal capped rockers enhance the finish, whilst metal capped fuse carriers and key operated grid switches further enhance the range.
For greater flexibility, pre-printed modules are available for key applications. Smooth tactile switch action incorporates positive drive switch mechanism. Clear terminal marking printed onto grey back mouldings ensures easy identification. Front plates are available in 6 metal finishes up to 24 gang and moulded 1–4 gang plates.
The Grid range allows the rating to be varied from switch to switch while still mounting from behind one plate. Whatever the configuration, the Grid range provides power where it is needed in one simple, flexible installation.

Designa White Insulated Range
The Designa White Insulated Range incorporates Slim-line, compact neons for a less obtrusive effect. An ultra-slim plate for minimum projection when flush fitted and plated earth straps that assist longevity for a corrosion-free life. Finished with flat-headed fixing screws for a neat finish.
The white moulded accessories have a slim-curved front plate, and curved rocker, whilst screw capped covers conceal fixing screws. For added convenience, a spare set is included with every moulded accessory.
All products have a positive switching action, strengthened front plate and shallow rear projection, thus allowing maximum room for wiring. All plate switches, except where indicated, are 10A ‘X’ Rated and thus do not have to be derated for fluorescent or inductive loads.
The Designa range includes switches, spurs, fuse connection units, 20 amp and 45 amp switches and shaver, telephone and co-axial sockets - all suitable for both commercial and domestic applications.
