The Climate Change Levy
The Climate Change Levy is a tax on the use of energy in commercial and industrial users. The aim is to encourage users to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions of greenhouse gases.
Intensive business users are allowed to receive an 80% discount from the Climate Change Levy, in return for meeting energy efficiency or carbon saving targets. Please visit the HM Revenue & Customs website for more information.
